Cancellation and Refund Policy
Beyond CeMAP Academy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
1. About This Policy
This policy explains your rights when purchasing online training from Beyond CeMAP Academy, including course pre-orders, cancellations and refund requests.
Beyond CeMAP Academy is a trading name of Innovative Admin Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 16330650.
We are committed to treating learners fairly and complying with applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
Nothing in this policy limits or removes your statutory consumer rights.
2. Our Online Training Programme
Our principal training programme is From CeMAP to Mortgage Adviser: 12-Week Practical Academy.
The standard course price is £695, although promotional discounts may be available.
The programme provides self-paced online training, practical exercises, fictional mortgage case studies, access to a practice CRM and assessments.
Course access is time-limited and is not provided indefinitely.
For the first intake, the scheduled course access period is 18 November 2026 to 18 March 2027.
3. Your 14-Day Cancellation Right
If you purchase our training as a consumer online, you will normally have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after the day the contract is made, without giving a reason.
For example, if your purchase is confirmed on 20 October, the normal cancellation period ends at the end of 3 November.
You do not need to wait until the course begins to exercise this right.
To cancel, please email:
State clearly that you wish to cancel your purchase. Providing your name, purchase email address and order number will help us locate your enrolment.
You may also use the cancellation form at the end of this policy, although this is not compulsory.
4. Cancellation of Pre-Orders
We accept pre-orders for courses that have not yet been released.
The first intake of our 12-week Practical Academy is scheduled to become available on 18 November 2026.
If you purchase a place before this date:
Payment is taken when you complete your purchase.
Your enrolment is reserved for the advertised intake.
You may receive account and purchase confirmation emails before the course opens.
You will not receive access to the course learning materials before the advertised release date.
Your normal statutory cancellation period begins when the purchase contract is made, not when the course is released.
If you cancel within your applicable statutory cancellation period and digital content or services have not begun to be supplied, you will be entitled to a full refund.
5. Digital Content and Early Access
Our programme includes digital content delivered through an online learning platform.
Where digital content is supplied during a customer's statutory cancellation period, special cancellation rules may apply.
A consumer may lose their statutory right to cancel a contract for digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium if:
They expressly consent to receiving the digital content before their 14-day cancellation period ends.
They acknowledge that beginning supply in those circumstances will result in losing their statutory cancellation right.
The digital content begins to be supplied.
The required contractual confirmation is provided.
Agreeing to our general Terms and Conditions does not, by itself, constitute this separate consent and acknowledgement.
Where our training also involves services, any applicable cancellation and payment rules for services will be respected.
We will not treat simply creating a learner account or completing a pre-order as automatically removing a statutory right to cancel.
6. Cancellation After the Statutory Period
Once your applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, we do not normally offer refunds solely because:
You change your mind about taking the course.
You decide you no longer wish to work in the mortgage industry.
You do not have enough time to complete the programme.
You choose not to access or finish the training.
However, we will consider requests involving exceptional circumstances individually.
This does not affect any statutory right to a refund or other remedy.
7. Course Cancellation, Delays or Changes
If Beyond CeMAP Academy cancels a course before providing the purchased training, affected learners will be offered a full refund.
If a course release is materially delayed, we will contact affected learners to explain the circumstances and their available options.
Where a change means that the course cannot be supplied as agreed, we will provide any refund or other remedy required by law.
We may make reasonable updates to course materials to correct errors, improve the learning experience or reflect relevant industry developments.
Such updates will not remove learners' statutory rights.
8. Technical Problems and Course Quality
We aim to provide training that is accessible, accurately described and delivered with reasonable care and skill.
If you experience a problem accessing your course, please contact us so that we can investigate.
Where digital content or services do not meet applicable legal requirements, you may be entitled to a repair, repeat performance, price reduction, refund or another remedy, depending on the circumstances.
These rights apply independently of the normal 14-day cancellation period.
9. Promotional Codes and Discounted Purchases
Where a valid promotional code has been applied to a course purchase, any refund will ordinarily be calculated using the amount actually paid.
For example, a learner purchasing the £695 course with a £100 discount pays £595.
If that learner is entitled to a full refund, the amount refunded will be £595, rather than the undiscounted course price.
Promotional codes have no cash value and cannot be separately refunded.
10. How Refunds Are Processed
Where a refund is due following a valid statutory cancellation, it will be processed without undue delay and normally within 14 days after we are informed of your decision to cancel.
Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed and does not result in additional fees for you.
The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider or bank.
We will confirm when the refund has been processed.
11. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To request a cancellation or refund, contact:
Email: [email protected]
Please provide:
Your full name.
The email address associated with your learner account.
Your order number, if available.
Confirmation that you wish to cancel, or a description of the issue for which you are requesting a refund.
You do not need to explain your reason for exercising an applicable statutory right to cancel.
We will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
12. Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
