These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of our online training programmes and associated learning resources.
By purchasing or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, subject to your statutory rights.
2. About Our Training Programme
Our principal programme, From CeMAP to Mortgage Adviser: 12-Week Practical Academy, is designed to help newly CeMAP-qualified individuals develop practical knowledge and understanding of the mortgage adviser role.
The programme includes, as applicable:
Online training videos and supporting written lessons.
Downloadable learning guides and resources.
Fictional mortgage client scenarios and case studies.
Practical exercises covering fact-finding, evidence review, mortgage sourcing, case progression and suitability considerations.
Access to a dedicated practice CRM.
Knowledge checks and practical assessments.
A final fictional case assessment.
Assessment feedback and a certificate of completion for learners who satisfy the completion requirements.
The programme is self-paced. The 12-week structure is a recommended learning pathway rather than a requirement to complete exactly one module per week.
Specific course content and inclusions will be described on the relevant course sales page.
3. Professional and Regulatory Position
Beyond CeMAP Academy provides education and practical skills training.
The programme:
Is not a replacement for the CeMAP qualification.
Does not itself confer Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorisation.
Does not confer Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
Does not independently certify a learner as competent to give regulated mortgage advice.
Does not guarantee employment, promotion, regulatory approval or acceptance by a mortgage network or firm.
Does not constitute regulated mortgage advice to consumers.
Employers, principal firms, networks and other relevant organisations remain responsible for their own supervision, training and competence arrangements.
Course materials are designed for educational purposes. Learners must verify current legislation, regulatory requirements, lender criteria and employer procedures when undertaking real mortgage-related work.
4. Enrolment and Eligibility
Learners must provide accurate information when registering and purchasing a course.
Each learner must have their own individual account and use an email address they can access.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Your account is for your personal use and must not be shared with another individual.
We may contact you where information is incomplete or where we reasonably need to verify an enrolment.
An enrolment is confirmed when we accept the purchase and issue an appropriate confirmation.
5. Course Prices and Payments
The standard price of our 12-week Practical Academy is £695, unless a different price is clearly displayed at the point of purchase.
The checkout will display the total amount payable, including any applicable taxes, before you confirm your order.
Payment is normally required in full at checkout.
Where we expressly agree an alternative payment arrangement, its terms will be confirmed separately in writing.
Promotional discounts or referral codes may be offered from time to time.
Discounts:
Must be valid when applied.
Are subject to any stated expiry dates and eligibility conditions.
Cannot normally be combined unless expressly permitted.
Must be applied before completing the purchase.
Do not automatically apply retrospectively to completed orders.
Any discount applied will be reflected in the final checkout total.
6. Pre-Orders and Course Release Dates
We may offer enrolment before a course becomes available for study.
Where a course is available for pre-order:
The advertised payment is taken when the pre-order is completed.
Your purchase reserves your enrolment in the specified course intake.
You may receive an account confirmation and other administrative communications before training begins.
Course lessons and training resources will not be made available until the advertised release date.
The intended release date will be shown before purchase.
The first intake of From CeMAP to Mortgage Adviser: 12-Week Practical Academy is scheduled to open on 18 November 2026.
Purchasing before that date does not give immediate access to the course lessons.
If we cannot provide the course on the agreed release date, we will contact affected learners, explain the position and offer an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required by law.
Your statutory cancellation rights apply to pre-orders.
7. Course Access and Duration
Access to our training programmes is provided for a specified period rather than indefinitely.
For the 18 November 2026 intake, course access is scheduled to run from 18 November 2026 until 18 March 2027.
This provides approximately four calendar months to work through the 12-week programme.
For future intakes, the relevant access start and expiry dates will be communicated before purchase.
Learners may progress through the course at their own pace during the applicable access period.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed:
Course access is personal and non-transferable.
Access does not continue indefinitely.
Course materials may become inaccessible when the access period expires.
Unfinished assessments do not automatically extend the access period.
Extensions are not guaranteed and must be agreed in writing.
We recommend downloading any permitted learning guides or personal assessment feedback before your access expires.
8. Practical Exercises and Practice CRM
The academy includes practical learning activities using fictional clients and simulated mortgage cases.
Learners may be provided with access to a dedicated practice CRM for educational purposes.
The practice CRM is not a live mortgage advice or client management system.
Learners must not:
Enter information relating to real mortgage clients.
Upload genuine bank statements, payslips, identification documents or confidential client records.
Use the practice CRM to administer actual mortgage applications.
Attempt to access another learner's account or records.
Interfere with the security or normal operation of the training systems.
All practical activities must use fictional information or materials expressly approved for training.
We may restrict access or require information to be removed where these rules are breached.
9. Assessments and Completion Certificates
Learners will be asked to complete practical exercises and a final fictional case assessment.
The final assessment may require learners to submit a practice CRM export and a written case review in the specified file formats.
Submission instructions will be provided within the course.
Final assessments are subject to review.
Submission alone does not guarantee that the assessment has been satisfactorily completed.
Where further information, clarification or corrections are required, we may ask the learner to make an additional submission.
A Beyond CeMAP Academy certificate of completion will be available to learners who meet the relevant course completion requirements, including satisfactory completion of the final assessment.
The certificate confirms completion of our training programme only.
It is not an FCA-recognised qualification, regulatory authorisation or independent certification of adviser competence.
10. Learner Responsibilities
Learners are expected to:
Engage with the learning materials responsibly.
Complete assessments using their own work.
Follow the instructions provided for practical activities.
Use professional and respectful language when contacting the academy.
Protect their account login details.
Avoid uploading confidential or real-client information.
Comply with reasonable platform security requirements.
We may investigate suspected misuse, including account sharing, unauthorised distribution of materials, assessment misconduct or attempts to compromise training systems.
Where a serious breach occurs, we may suspend access while investigating and take proportionate action.
We will not use these Terms to remove rights or remedies that a learner is legally entitled to receive.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, our training videos, written guides, course structure, presentations, assessments, templates, branding and other educational materials belong to Innovative Admin Ltd or are used with appropriate permission.
Enrolment provides a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access the purchased course and use its materials for your own learning.
You may download resources where the course expressly permits downloading.
You must not, without prior written permission:
Resell or commercially distribute course materials.
Share paid course content with non-enrolled individuals.
Upload our materials to public websites or file-sharing platforms.
Reproduce or deliver our programme as your own training product.
Record or redistribute training videos without permission.
Nothing in this section prevents lawful use permitted by copyright legislation.
12. Cancellation and Refund Rights
We recognise the rights of consumers under applicable UK consumer protection law.
Your initial cancellation period
For qualifying online purchases, you will normally have a 14-day statutory cancellation period beginning the day after the contract is made, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
This applies to pre-orders as well as purchases made after a course becomes available.
You may tell us that you wish to cancel by emailing [email protected].
You do not have to provide a reason when exercising an applicable statutory right to cancel.
Access to digital course content during the cancellation period
Different rules can apply where digital content or services are supplied during the statutory cancellation period.
For qualifying digital content, a learner may lose the statutory right to cancel after supply begins during that period only where the relevant legal requirements have been met, including express consent to early supply, acknowledgement of the resulting loss of cancellation rights and appropriate confirmation.
Simply agreeing to these Terms and Conditions does not, by itself, constitute that separate consent and acknowledgement.
Where service-related cancellation provisions apply, any amount payable for a service expressly requested to begin during the cancellation period will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
Refunds
Where you exercise a valid statutory cancellation right, we will provide the refund to which you are legally entitled, normally using the original payment method and within the applicable legal timeframe.
After the statutory cancellation period has ended, requests to cancel because of a change of mind will be considered under our published Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights to a remedy where digital content or services are faulty, not as described, not supplied as agreed or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.
Full cancellation instructions and the optional cancellation form will be available in our separate Cancellation and Refund Policy.
13. One-to-One Training and Additional Support
Unless the relevant course description expressly states otherwise, the £695 Practical Academy does not include individual coaching sessions, personal WhatsApp support or bespoke adviser mentoring.
Separate one-to-one broker support services may be offered under their own agreed scope, pricing, availability and terms.
Purchasing the 12-week online programme does not automatically entitle a learner to those additional services.
14. Technical Requirements
Learners are responsible for having suitable equipment and internet access to use the course.
The programme is delivered online and may require:
A reliable internet connection.
A modern, supported internet browser.
Access to the email address used for registration.
Software capable of opening PDF and Word documents.
A computer or laptop for completing some practical exercises, including work within the practice CRM and preparing assessment submissions.
Some features may not work equally well on all mobile devices.
Learners should contact us if they experience technical difficulties or require information about accessibility.
15. Platform Availability and Changes
We aim to make our learning services available throughout the stated access period.
Occasional interruptions may arise because of maintenance, system updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may make reasonable updates to course content to correct errors, improve clarity or reflect relevant changes in industry practice.
We will not materially reduce the core training purchased without an appropriate reason and, where required, offering affected learners a suitable remedy.
If a significant issue prevents access, please contact us so we can investigate and provide an appropriate resolution.
16. Learner Support and Complaints
Learners may contact us with questions about enrolment, course access, assessments or technical difficulties.
Email: [email protected]
We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, please contact us with details of your concern and the resolution you are seeking.
We will review complaints fairly and respond in writing.
You retain the right to pursue any applicable statutory remedies.
17. Personal Information
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our published Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Learners should read the Privacy Policy to understand how their account information, payment records, learning progress and assessment submissions are handled.
18. Responsibility and Liability
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill and will comply with applicable consumer law.
We do not guarantee employment, business earnings, mortgage adviser competence, regulatory approval or any particular professional outcome following completion.
Learners and their employers remain responsible for applying appropriate professional judgement, checking current requirements and obtaining necessary supervision in real-world mortgage advice activities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, our services or operational arrangements.
The latest version will be displayed on our website.
The Terms applicable when you purchase your course will ordinarily govern that purchase.
We will not impose material changes to an existing purchase in a way that unfairly removes your contractual or statutory rights.
Where a change materially affects an existing learner, we will communicate the change and provide any remedy required by law.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory legal rights or protections available to you.
